Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Pixadoro Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") is committed to ensuring that kukie.io (the "Website") is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to information about privacy and consent should not depend on ability, and we work to continually improve the experience for all visitors.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities.

The Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We audit the Website regularly and treat remaining gaps as work in progress rather than accepted limitations.

Measures we take

Automated accessibility scanning with axe-core (WCAG 2.1 A and AA rulesets) over a broad, curated set of marketing pages - including opened navigation menus and dialogs - run as part of our test harness during development, alongside periodic full-site scans.
Manual review of templates for semantic structure, keyboard operability, focus management and assistive-technology labelling.
Semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer), a skip-to-content link and visible keyboard focus indicators on every page.
Respect for reduced-motion preferences: decorative animation is disabled when your operating system requests reduced motion.
Accessibility acceptance criteria in our design system, including WCAG AA contrast targets and minimum touch-target sizes.

Accessibility features on this website

Every page of the Website includes the Kukie.io accessibility widget - the same widget we provide to our customers, delivered by the same script as our cookie banner (the round button in a lower corner of the page, or press Ctrl + U). It lets you customise your browsing experience without any browser extensions:

Quick profiles - one-tap presets for motor impairments, low vision, dyslexia, cognitive and learning needs, ADHD (focus mask, fewer distractions), and a seizure-safe mode (no motion, reduced colour intensity).
Content scaling - enlarge the entire page in 10% steps, up to 150%.
Bigger text - three levels of page-wide text scaling.
Text spacing and line height - adjustable letter, word and line spacing.
Dyslexia-friendly mode - switches to a widely spaced, high-legibility typeface.
Bold text - increases the weight of all text content.
Contrast modes - high contrast, dark mode and inverted colours.
Colour saturation - high saturation, monochrome and low saturation modes.
Text alignment - force left, centre or right alignment of text content.
Highlight links - underlines and highlights every link on the page.
Highlight titles - outlines every heading so the page structure stands out.
Pause animations - stops decorative motion and transitions.
Mute sounds - pauses and mutes audio and video on the page.
Read aloud - speaks a clicked paragraph or a text selection using your browser's built-in speech engine; nothing is sent to our servers.
Hide images - hides photos and embedded media for distraction-free reading.
Big cursor and reading guide - an oversized pointer, a horizontal reading ruler, and a reading mask that dims everything except the line you are reading.
Page structure - a navigable list of the page's headings, landmarks and links.
Language - the widget's own panel is available in more than 70 languages.

Your choices are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers. On your first visit the widget also respects your operating system preferences: a reduced-motion setting pre-enables Pause animations and an increased-contrast setting pre-enables High contrast, and you can turn either off at any time.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of the Website may not yet be fully accessible:

Third-party content we embed or link to (for example review platforms or video players) may not meet the same accessibility standard; we do not control those services.
Some small secondary text on a number of pages does not yet meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio. These instances are recorded in our internal audit programme and are being corrected page by page; our automated scanning reports each one on every run until it is fixed.

The limitations identified in our 22 July 2026 audit - low-contrast secondary text and hover-only desktop navigation menus - were remediated on 23 July 2026: navigation menus are fully keyboard operable, form fields and dynamic tools announce their state to assistive technology, and animations respect the reduced-motion preference. A further internal review completed on 30 July 2026 found and fixed additional low-contrast text on several pages and inside the navigation menus, corrected the accessible names of controls in the accessibility widget, and fixed a fault where the widget's own content-scaling setting could push the widget's close button off screen. A small number of low-contrast instances on older pages remain under remediation and are tracked in our internal audit programme.

Compatibility

The Website is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnifiers and speech recognition software. The Website is responsive and supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Legal and regulatory context

This statement is provided with regard to applicable accessibility legislation, including the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and equivalent national legislation. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the technical standard we measure ourselves against.

Feedback and contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need any content in an alternative format, please contact us:

Email: support@kukie.io
Contact form: kukie.io/contact

Please include the address of the page and a description of the problem. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to fix confirmed barriers as quickly as practicable.

Assessment approach

We assess the accessibility of the Website through self-evaluation: automated testing with axe-core (WCAG 2.1 A and AA rulesets) on desktop and mobile viewports - a full-site scan for the 22 July 2026 audit, and a repeatable scan of a broad page set, including opened menus and dialogs, in our development test harness - combined with manual source-level review of templates and keyboard-only walkthroughs. This statement was prepared on 22 July 2026 and last reviewed on 21 September 2026, when the Website's own accessibility widget was replaced by the Kukie.io accessibility widget we provide to our customers, which offers the same adjustments (the 31 August 2026 review had added bold text, heading highlighting, sound muting and read-aloud modes, automatic pickup of the operating system's reduced-motion and increased-contrast preferences, and a panel placement beside its button).
