AI Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
Why this policy exists
Pixadoro Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of kukie.io (the "Website") and the Kukie.io consent management platform (the "Service"), uses artificial intelligence as a drafting tool when producing written content. This page explains exactly where AI is and is not used, who reviews what, and who is responsible for it - in line with the transparency obligations of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the "EU AI Act").
How our content is created
Articles on our blog and in our Help Centre are typically drafted with the assistance of general-purpose AI tools (large language models), working from research briefs, primary sources such as regulator guidance and legal texts, and our own product documentation.
AI-assisted drafts go through a process of human review and editorial control before publication: our team verifies product statements against the actual behaviour of the Service and edits for accuracy and clarity. Pixadoro Ltd. holds editorial responsibility for everything published on this Website. If something we publish is wrong, that responsibility is ours - not the tool's.
Blog articles published on or after 2 August 2026 (the date the EU AI Act's transparency obligations began to apply) additionally carry a short AI disclosure note at the end of the article for visitors in the European Economic Area.
No AI system in the product
The Service itself does not contain an AI system within the meaning of the EU AI Act. The features that may look automated are deterministic, rule-based software:
- Cookie scanner - a headless browser that visits your pages and records the cookies and scripts it observes. It infers nothing; it reports what it sees.
- Cookie auto-categorisation - a fixed cascade of exact-name matching against a known-cookie database, human-written patterns, aggregated community votes, and static heuristics. No machine learning, no model, no probabilistic inference.
- Legal document generator - templates filled in from your wizard answers. The output is fully determined by your input.
Accordingly, Kukie.io is not a "provider" of an AI system or of a general-purpose AI model under the EU AI Act. Our only role under the Act is that of a "deployer" of third-party AI tools during content drafting, as described above.
AI and your data
No personal data processed by the Service (consent records, account data, scan results) is sent to any AI provider. AI tools are used only at the content-authoring stage, outside the Service, and our Privacy Policy lists every sub-processor that actually receives personal data.
