The problem

Privacy law does not stop at your border.

More than 40 jurisdictions now regulate how a website may set cookies, and another one arrives most years. Your traffic does not sort itself by rulebook. The visitor from Munich has to consent before a single analytics cookie is set, the one from California has to be able to refuse the sale of their data, and the one from São Paulo is covered by Brazil's LGPD.

Working that out by hand is slow, easy to get wrong, and difficult to prove afterwards, which is the part that matters when somebody asks.

From there the banner follows the rule you set for each region, such as opt-in in Europe and opt-out in California, in 70+ languages, with Google Consent Mode v2 signals once you switch it on. Every choice is stored with a receipt you can look up later.

Questions about pricing

How much does a cookie consent platform cost?

Kukie.io starts free: the Free plan includes up to 5 websites with unlimited pageviews, a cookie scanner, consent logging and geo-detection. Paid plans range from €9 to €89 per month, depending on the number of sites, custom region rules, scan frequency and advanced features like HTTP consent cookies. There are no per-pageview overage charges.

Can I try Kukie.io before paying?

Yes. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You'll need to enter your card details to start the trial, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. We email you a reminder before the trial ends. You can cancel any time during the trial and you won't be billed.

Do prices depend on my traffic?

No. Every plan includes unlimited pageviews, and there are no overage charges. Prices depend on the number of sites and the features you need, so a busy month never changes your bill.

What happens when I cancel my subscription?

When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again after that, and your account will automatically move to the Free plan when the period expires.

Do you offer refunds?

We don't offer refunds. If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, so you won't lose access you've paid for.

Can I change my plan at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your Billing page. Both take effect immediately. On an upgrade you are invoiced for the prorated difference; on a switch to a cheaper paid plan the unused time you have already paid for is credited against your next invoice. Moving to the Free plan is a cancellation, so it is the one change that waits: your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Is VAT included in the prices?

No. All prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT may be added at checkout depending on your location.

Can I get an invoice for my company?

Yes. Every payment comes with an invoice, and you can download all of them from your Billing page. VAT is calculated at checkout from your billing address.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. All payments are processed securely.

Can I use Kukie.io on multiple websites?

Yes. Paid plans support multiple websites, and the comparison table above lists the limits. The Free plan includes up to 5 sites.

Where is my consent data stored?

In the European Union. Consent records collected through Kukie.io are stored on servers in the EU. The Data Processing Agreement names every sub-processor that handles visitor data and the safeguards that cover each one.

What happens to my data if I downgrade to Free?

Your banner configuration and your cookie lists stay as they are, and you don't need to remove anything first. The Free plan keeps consent records for 12 months, and the nightly clean-up deletes older ones, so export them from the Consent Log first if you need them. If you have more sites than the Free plan allows, the newest sites over the limit are frozen automatically, with a 7-day grace period before their banner stops showing. The grace period is granted once per site every 30 days, so a site frozen again within that time keeps its original deadline. Removing another site or upgrading again unfreezes them.
