Revisit Consent Button

Revisit Consent Button

Last updated Mar 24, 2026

The revisit consent button is a small floating button that appears on your site after a visitor has made their consent choice. Clicking it re-opens the consent banner so the visitor can update their preferences. This is required by GDPR, which mandates that withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.

Customisation Options

In the Banner Editor, go to the Design tab and find the Revisit Button section. You can customise:

Position (4 Options)

  • Bottom-left
  • Bottom-right
  • Top-left
  • Top-right

Style (3 Options)

  • Circle - a round floating button (default).
  • Tab - a tab-style button attached to the edge of the screen.
  • Text - a text label button.

Icon (4 Options)

Choose from four icon styles for the button: cookie, shield, fingerprint, or settings gear.

Colour and Offset

Set the button's background colour and adjust the offset (distance from the edge of the screen in pixels).

The revisit button always displays a cookie icon (or your chosen icon from the 4 options) - it never shows your custom logo, even if you have uploaded one for the banner. This ensures the button is immediately recognisable as a consent management control.
