Consent Analytics Dashboard

Consent Analytics Dashboard

Last updated Mar 24, 2026

The Analytics page gives you a visual overview of how visitors interact with your cookie consent banner. Track acceptance rates, rejection rates, and custom preference choices over configurable time periods.

Overview Summary Card

The site overview page includes a 30-day consent summary card showing key metrics at a glance:

  • Total consent events - the number of visitors who interacted with the banner.
  • Acceptance rate - percentage of visitors who accepted all cookies.
  • Rejection rate - percentage who rejected all non-essential cookies.
  • Custom rate - percentage who saved custom preferences (some categories accepted, others rejected).

The Analytics Page

Navigate to your site and click Analytics in the sub-navigation to see the full analytics dashboard. This page provides detailed charts and breakdowns:

  • Consent by type - a breakdown of accepted, rejected, and custom consent events.
  • Time-period filtering - view data for today, 7 days, 30 days, or custom date ranges.
  • Consent trends - track how consent rates change over time.

Live Today's Data

The analytics dashboard includes real-time data for the current day. Today's consent events are counted live and included in the totals without waiting for the daily aggregation job. This means you can monitor consent rates immediately after launching a new banner design or updating your consent model.

Tip: Use the analytics dashboard to A/B test banner designs. Change your banner layout or text, then monitor the acceptance rate over the following days to see if the change had a positive impact.

The dashboard tracks six types of consent events:

  • accept_all - visitor clicked Accept All.
  • reject_all - visitor clicked Reject All.
  • custom - visitor saved custom preferences.
  • update - visitor changed their consent via the revisit button.
  • implied - consent was implied (opt-out/notice-only models).
  • opt_out - visitor opted out via the CCPA "Do Not Sell" link.
