Connect Claude Code

Agency plan

Last updated

Available on the Agency plan

This feature is included in the Agency plan and the plans above it. See pricing

Add Kukie.io to Claude Code with one command, then sign in from the /mcp menu. Claude Code can then read your sites and, if you allow it, make previewed changes, from your terminal. Claude Code asks before it uses a change tool unless you allow it to run tools on its own.

The AI Connector is included on the Agency and Unlimited plans. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

Add Kukie.io

  1. In a terminal, run:
claude mcp add --transport http kukie https://app.kukie.io/mcp
  2. Start Claude Code and type /mcp.
  3. Choose kukie and follow the sign-in. Your browser opens Kukie.io: choose the organisation, the sites and the access, and select Allow access.

Claude Code renews the sign-in by itself. To sign out, open /mcp, choose kukie and clear its authentication.

Use it in one project or in all of them

Add --scope to the command to choose where Claude Code keeps the connector:

  • local (the default): this project only, for you.
  • project: in the project's .mcp.json, shared with everyone who uses the repository. Each of them signs in to Kukie.io with their own account.
  • user: every project on your computer.

Use an AI key instead

For a script or a headless run where no one can sign in, create an AI key and send it as a header:

claude mcp add --transport http kukie https://app.kukie.io/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer kk_ai_YOUR_KEY"

Replace kk_ai_YOUR_KEY with your key. Never put a key in a .mcp.json file you commit.
