Understanding the Dashboard

Last updated Mar 24, 2026

The Kukie.io dashboard is your central hub for managing cookie consent across all of your websites. This guide gives you a quick tour of the main areas so you can find everything you need.

Top Navigation

The header bar is always visible and contains:

  • Sites dropdown - a quick-switch menu listing every site in your current organisation. Click any domain to jump straight to that site.
  • Organisation switcher - if you belong to multiple organisations, use this dropdown to switch between them. Each organisation shows its plan badge (Free, Pro, Business, etc.).
  • Account menu - access your profile settings, billing, notifications, and log out.

Site Overview

When you select a site, the first page you see is the Overview. It contains:

  • Embed code - with tabs for Manual installation, Google Tag Manager, and your API Key.
  • Consent analytics summary - a 30-day snapshot of consent rates (accept, reject, custom).
  • Last cookie scan - the most recent scan result with relative time, pages scanned, and cookies found.
  • Cookie categories - a summary of your cookie categories with a direct link to manage them.
  • Enabled languages - the languages currently active on your banner.

Site Sub-Navigation

Below the overview, a sticky sub-navigation bar gives you access to all site management tabs:

  1. Overview - the summary page described above.
  2. Banner Editor - customise your banner design, texts, regions, and integrations. See Customise Your Banner Design.
  3. Cookies & Scripts - manage cookie categories, view scan results, run scans, and configure the script centre. See Scanning & Cookies.
  4. Legal Documents - generate and publish cookie policies, privacy policies, and terms of service. See Legal Documents.
  5. Analytics - detailed consent analytics with charts and breakdowns. See Analytics & Logs.
  6. Consent Log - a searchable table of every individual consent event with export capabilities.
  7. Settings - site-level configuration including consent settings, banner status, subdomain sharing, and the danger zone (delete site).

Organisations Page

The Organisations page, accessible from the main navigation, shows two sections:

  • My Organisations - organisations you own, with site count, plan badge, and management options.
  • Shared With Me - organisations where you are an invited team member, with a Leave button.

Each organisation card shows its ID and the domains of all sites within it, so you can quickly identify which organisation manages which websites.

Global Notifications

The dashboard displays contextual notifications at the top of the page:

  • Trial banners - if you are on a free trial, a colour-coded banner shows your remaining days (green for 7+ days, amber for 3-7 days, red for fewer than 3 days).
  • Scan progress - when a scan is running, a notification bar shows real-time progress across all pages.
  • Uncategorised cookies - after a scan, if any cookies could not be auto-categorised, a notification lists their names with quick-categorise buttons.

Quick Tips

Tip: Use the Sites dropdown in the header to switch between sites without returning to the Sites index page. Organisation badges in the switcher help you identify which plan each organisation is on at a glance.

For detailed guides on each dashboard section, follow the links in the sub-navigation list above or explore the categories in the Help Centre sidebar.
